Spring 2024 Friends of Stonewall

Dates/Times: All games will be played on Sunday afternoons between 11:00 AM - 4:00PM. Games are 5 innings, or 50 minutes each.

Facility: Roosevelt Park

League Description: Our primary division is designed to maximize social connection leveraging recreational kickball. Your teams will consist of ~18-20 players. We will have a 8 week regular season 8th weekend will be the Tournament.

Registration Cost: $50 per player, which includes your registered player t-shirt (see registration information section below). The league is open to all and those in need of an equitable registration option can email us for more information.

Registration Information: Registration for the Spring 2024 league begins on February 23rd for captains and February 26th for players to March 13th, 2024; or when the league is full.

How to Register:

We'll place groups together to form teams of 18-20 people. Each captain must be trained as an umpire and each team will need to choose one Co-Captain and two Referees to be trained to help officiate games as needed. Here's how you can register for a team:

1. Register as a Captain and create a team -One person must sign up as Captain and create a team name. Then your friends can register for that team through the registration period with up to 15 people. After registration closes, we'll add additional members to your team, as needed to ensure you'll get to meet new people!

2. Create a "Small Group" of up to 4 people- If you want to register for a smaller group of up to 4, you can! In that case, no one needs to be captain -- one person simply needs to create a small group, which up to 3 other people can join. We'll add your group to a team after registration ends.

3. Register as a Free Agent - If you want to register as an individual, no problem! Simply sign up as a Free Agent, and we'll add you to a team once registration is complete. We can't wait for you to meet your team!

Note to Captains: If you plan on being the captain of a team, you will need to register first, create the correct team and team name and then have 14 players register under your team name. An email will be sent once you have signed up with additional team information and responsibilities. Captains and Co-Captains are also required to attend a mandatory Captain meeting (details to follow). If neither the captain nor the co-captain are able to attend, they must provide a representative in their place.

Spring 2024 Pre-Season Schedule:

• February 23 - Registration opens for captains

• February 26 - Registration opens for players

• February 26 - Kickball Skills 101- open to all

• March 13 - Registration closes at midnight
